Childhood Glories By Vishii Rita Krocha
The very sound of childhood is as refined as gold and silver. It's a word that many of us would like to remember and associate it with our very own. What's nice is that most of us consider that phase of life as the most memorable. It will go down with us in remembrance for as long as we can keep it in memory. And there are many special reasons why being a child once has a deep impact on us even when we have grown tall and old.

Change - Do We Really Hate It? By Beth Peakall
What is it about change that makes experts say we hate it? I don't believe we hate change at all; what we don't like is when it spirals beyond our control. So it isn't change we hate, it's the lack of control. Going far back in history, consider the Pharaoh Akenaten. He decided that the polytheistic Egyptian religion would be replaced by worshipping one god, the Aten. He liked it, but not too many others did. Akenaten fled the tradition capital, setting up an entire new city. The entire religious class had no jobs; he set up new priests and rites. When he died, a huge effort was made to remove all memory of him. He imposed the change on his people; no choice, just a decision which completely turned religious belief on its head. It didn't last.

Car - Auto Insurance, Things You Should Take Into Consideration
By Loz L
Car/Auto Insurance
Car insurance is the most widely purchased type of insurance coverage. Car insurance is designed to protect you, your family, and your automobile. Cheap car insurance is a popular avenue these days, but you should be sure that you're getting all of the coverage you need, as damage to your car or another person's car may cost you money out-of-pocket if you don't have sufficient coverage and your car insurance rate may go up. If you have been wondering whether cheap car insurance is really cheap, however, it is essential to read the full contract on anything you sign. This isn't always the case - sometimes the cheapest car insurance is cheap for a reason, meaning you get what you pay for. The most common reason cheap car insurance is cheap is because the company has no intention of paying out claims.

Why Do We Love Stuffed Animals and Teddy Bears? By: Lill Hawkins
We all have toys in our pasts that make us smile just to think of the joy we got from playing with them. For many of us, it was a favorite stuffed animal that we could hold onto for reassurance. When we woke up in the dark or had to have a shot at the doctor's or when we were tired, that bear or other stuffed animal was a friend who never deserted us. Even when we were "too old" to carry our little friend around with us, our teddy bears often waited on our beds and got picked up as soon as we came home from daycare or school.

SHADES OF FALL
The 23rd of September marked the first day of fall, the Autumnal Equinox, where day and night; light and dark are equal and evenly balanced into the same number of hours. This fabulous time of year invites us to open our body, mind and soul into new experiences of health, well being and wholeness. The body does not like to stagnate, it thrives on change and fall offers the perfect opportunity to experience change on many levels as routines and rhythms change from summer to fall, temperatures drop and leaves begin to fall. We need only look to nature and watch her change as she starts the regeneration process again.

Charge for Obituaries - Why?
Why do newspapers charge for a person under the stress and expense of losing a loved one to place an obituary, when they place weddings, engagements, birthday and such as a free service ? Our local newspaper will put a death notice at no charge, but if you want to place an obit they charge you by the inch for any other infomation you want to share about your lost loved one. We ran into this recently when my wife lost her brother and was charged $135 for it to be in the paper for one day. It is our feeling, at yourpalestine.com, this should be a service that should be free to the public. We contacted the furneral homes in our area and offered for them to put the obits on our web site free from their own computers but were told they were too busy and did not have time to provide this free service to the families. We try to take the information from the paper and place it on our website as a free service to our readers but this causes a two to three day delay while if the funeral homes would place it, it would almost be immediate with no delay.
