Tips To Avoid Spyware By Curtis Dawson
Spyware can be a big problem. It can get into your computer and search through your personal information. It can also make random pop-up advertisements show up on your computer at anytime. These pop-ups can direct you to other different forms of Spyware that can infect your computer if clicked on. They can also lead you to sites that have serious viruses on them.

The reason we call it Spyware is because it can be very sneaky. It can install itself anywhere on your computer without you even knowing about it. Here are a few tips you can use to prevent Spyware from getting into your computer:
1. Take caution to sites that you go to. I usually customize my internet options to ask me if I want to block this site or allow its cookies to run on my computer. This will not stop Spyware 100% but it will allow you to block all of the sites that you are not familiar with.

2. Avoid Advertisements that seem to good to be true. If you are surfing on the net and all of a sudden you see a pop-up or advertisement that wants you to download something then take consideration to the fact that this could be filled with Spyware programs. If it came from a trusted site than it most likely will not be Spyware but at any rate be sure to make sure of this before you click on anything.

3. Invest in a good Anti-Spyware Protection Software tool. Much like virus protection programs, anti-Spyware programs can check your computer for Spyware and get rid of any programs on your computer that my have potential Spyware on it.
